This module is so anal about tutorial attendance, I can’t even -.- So I missed ONE tutorial session and wasn’t able to attend a makeup class, and I get an email from my tutor telling me my submitted Journal Entry AND Written Assignment for that week won’t be graded because of my missed attendance. Like WHAT THE HELL.

Thanks for wasting my time. I wrote all that crap for nothing, wasted my effort, wasted my time, and now I won’t be getting the credit I deserve because I wasn’t able to attend a tutorial. Anyway, I guess the good thing is that this just gives me even more motivation to not want to study for this module. B+ and I’m happy.

Day 9: Goddamn elastic…

I am 100% sure now that the elastic is causing my never-ending headache. Just changed my elastic for the night and again my right temple began hurting like hell. Before that the headache was just mild… there, annoying, but tolerable and mild.

Thank god I’m seeing my surgeon tomorrow. Honestly I’m kinda doubting if she put on the elastics correctly. Because my elastics are in the V-shape and they’re not identical on both sides. The V on my left side is smaller and I feel completely fine, but the V on my right has one extra tooth in between the two tips of the V and GOD my head hurts on that side.

Been cranky this morning. Not surprising, given that I’ve been nursing a headache (that NEVER went away) for THREE days. Ugh.

If not for this headache, I would feel completely fine. Not feeling weak or hungry, just sick of liquid food.

So I did some studying today and damn I do wanna curse out the lecturer for GEK1064. NO webcasts, fair enough, but the lecture slides are flimsy as shit – barely any information in it, and from the lecture summary announcement made on IVLE, she/he apparently covered A LOT of stuff that’s not in the lecture notes. All over the place – in the readings, in the textbook, and other random shit that’s not in the textbook or the notes. Why the fuck do you make it so difficult to self-study this module? -.- Goddamn. I spent FOUR hours today just going through the first lecture of GEk1064, using the textbook, google, IVLE lecture summary announcement and flimsy useless lecture notes all to compile my own set of notes on Microsoft Word because this module’s content is JUST ALL OVER THE PLACE AND SO TEDIOUS TO SELF-STUDY. Especially when this freaking headache won’t leave me the hell alone.

The least you could do is to at least have a slide on the key points we need to know. How do I self-study when I don’t even KNOW what to study because I don’t know what’s important to know and what’s not.
